Early Years Education Funding

Every child is entitled to 15 hours for Early Education Funding from the term after their 3rd birthday. Happy Days Nursery offers places for two, three and four year old children enabling parents to access their child’s universal and extended funding entitlement flexibly.

Parents will be required to complete a Parental Declaration and provide their child's original birth certificate or passport when first applying for funding. Children can be funded to a maximum of 30 hours each week (15 universal / 15 extended) subject to qualifying and availability.

Please contact the office for further information and details of our delivery patterns for Free Early Years Education. Please note entitlement to a Free Early Education place does not offer a guarantee of a place at any one provider or a particular pattern of delivery.

Free for 2’s

Kent County Council continues to offer some means tested funding for two year olds. Your child may be entitled to a funded place (up to 15 hours) if you are in receipt of certain benefits and your child’s date of birth falls within a particular date range. We offer Free for 2 spaces subject to availability. Further information is available from the Kent County Council website - click here for the link.

How To Pay

Payment is due monthly in advance, with your first invoice due on your child's first day. Subsequently, invoices are raised monthly and payment is due by the 1st of each month.  Payment can be made in a variety of ways including direct debit, debit card, bank transfer, tax free scheme, childcare vouchers or cash. We do not accept cheques. Our Famly App facilitates easy administration of payments.

Our fees are spread equally over the year, so every month they will be the same. This enables parents and carers to budget more easily. Fees are based on 50 weeks a year, so any periods of closure, such as Bank Holidays or our Christmas closure are excluded ensuring parents are not charged for these days.
